Every part of this website and the Health at Work platform — including the text, articles, guides, scripts, videos, narration, imagery, the caduceus logo, design, risk-assessment tools, and the overall selection and arrangement of this content — is the intellectual property of the owner and is protected by copyright and other laws.
Medical disclaimer. The information, articles, tools, videos and risk assessments on this site are provided for general education and workplace-health awareness only. They are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and do not create a doctor–patient relationship. Always seek the advice of a qualified physician or occupational-health professional regarding any medical condition or workplace exposure. Never disregard professional advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or watched here. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.

1. Ownership & Copyright

Health at Work (healthatwork.solutions), its French edition Santé au Travail (santeautravail.solutions), and all written material, articles, scripts, artwork, tools, and edited video and audio published on them are owned by Dr. Ackhmez Chuttoo, MD (the "Owner"). The original authorship — the articles and guides, the scripts, and the creative selection, sequencing and editing of every video and tool — is protected by copyright under the laws of Mauritius and, through the Berne Convention, internationally.

2. Trademarks

"Health at Work," "Santé au Travail," the caduceus logo, and related names and marks are trademarks of the Owner. They may not be used, imitated, or registered by any other party without prior written permission.

3. Your licence to use the site

You may view, read and share links to the free content for your own personal, non-commercial reference. You receive no ownership rights. Companies wishing to use the material for training, internal distribution, or commercial purposes must obtain a written licence.

4. What you may not do

Without the Owner's prior written permission you may not: copy, reproduce, download in bulk, republish, mirror, sell, sub-license, or create derivative works from the articles, tools, artwork or videos; remove or alter any copyright or trademark notice; or use any part of the content to train, fine-tune, or build a machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model. Automated scraping or bulk harvesting of the site or its media is prohibited.

5. Contributed & expert content

Experts and contributors retain the rights to the original material they personally submit, and grant Health at Work a licence to publish and promote it on the platform. Nothing in these terms transfers a contributor's own copyright, and nothing permits others to reuse contributed material without permission.

6. Privacy

When you book a consultation, apply as an expert, or verify your identity, the details you provide are used only to deliver that service and are not sold. Identity verification may be handled by a third-party provider under its own terms. Contact us to ask what data we hold or to request its deletion.

9. Health self-assessments — origin & sources

The health self-assessments on this site — the Burnout, Work Stress, Ergonomics, Manual Handling & Repetitive Strain, Mental Health at Work, Work-Life Balance, Workplace Hazard, DSE Workstation, Work Stress Causes, Sleep & Shift-Work Fatigue, Hand-Arm Vibration (HAVS), Work Ability, Noise & Hearing, and Musculoskeletal tests — were developed by Dr. Ackhmez Chuttoo, MD, and are informed by and adapted from widely recognised occupational-health frameworks and instruments. In particular: the DSE test follows display-screen-equipment workstation self-assessment principles; the Work Stress Causes test is based on the HSE Management Standards for work-related stress (demands, control, support, relationships, role and change); the Sleep & Fatigue test draws on established daytime-sleepiness scales and shift-work fatigue-risk factors; the Hand-Arm Vibration test follows the tiered HAVS health-surveillance approach (Tier-1 screening); the Work Ability test is based on the recognised work-ability concept; the Noise & Hearing test reflects occupational noise-exposure and hearing-symptom indicators; and the Musculoskeletal test is based on the Nordic musculoskeletal body-map questionnaire. These are original screening and awareness tools inspired by those frameworks. They are not the underlying questionnaires reproduced in full, are not represented as independently clinically validated in this form, and are not diagnostic instruments.

10. Health self-assessment disclaimer

Each health self-assessment, and any personalised results (including results emailed to you on request), are provided for general workplace-health awareness and screening only. A result is not a medical diagnosis; it is a self-reported screening indicator only. A reliable evaluation must be carried out by a qualified occupational-health professional, and interpreted together with the relevant organisation's own workplace risk assessment. You should not rely on a result alone, treat it as a substitute for professional medical or occupational-health advice, or use it as a fitness-for-work decision. Test answers are stored only when an assessment is completed through an authorised company-survey link, or while survey mode is enabled by the Owner; such data is anonymous and is used to help employers understand and reduce workplace health risks. This section supplements the Medical disclaimer above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here limits any right the Owner has under applicable copyright or trademark law.

This page is a general notice, not legal or medical advice. For registrations and enforcement, the Owner works with qualified professionals.
